Space Weld is a sci-fi maintenance game set aboard a deep-space cargo vessel. As the ship pushes through dangerous routes across the galaxy, the hull continuously suffers damage from debris and asteroid impacts. Playing as the ship’s welding robot, your job is to repair breaches, maintain ship efficiency, and keep the vessel moving at full speed. Every unrepaired hull fracture slows the ship down, and every second lost threatens the delivery schedule. With Captain Rhea overseeing the mission, you must keep the ship together long enough to reach each destination before time runs out.

The game interprets Space both as the physical setting and as the dangerous environment surrounding the ship. The entire journey takes place in outer space, where asteroid fields and long-distance travel constantly threaten the vessel.

The Time theme is tied directly to gameplay. Each mission has a delivery deadline, and the player must maintain the ship’s efficiency to arrive on time. Damaged hull sections reduce the ship’s speed, meaning every repair affects how fast the ship reaches its destination. Time is not just a timer,  it is the core objective driving every decision the player makes.
